THE NEXT GENERATION SYSTEM

Next Generation Hockey presents world renowned skating and hockey skills instructor Boris Dorozhenko.  Boris will continue to build on his tradition of building strong players through his proven system at Arcadia Ice Arena.

Boris has trained and worked with top players internationally. Boris' focused and disciplined approach helps his students dramatically improve their abilities in the shortest time possible.  The Next Generation system breaks down hockey skills into its core elements and provides players with a deeper appreciation of these elements and skills. On and off the ice, players will improve their confidence, balance, agility, and strength.  A player's gained knowledge of skating and how it relates to their success is unparalleled.

Boris' unique approach to skating and hockey skills originates from his own hockey roots as part of the Russian and Eastern European hockey tradition and is now available through his Innovative Hockey Schools.

LEVEL 1, 2, & 3 SCHOOLS (IMPORTANT INFORMATION-PLEASE READ)

A player's school level designation is based on age only upon initial registration. Then, after registration Boris and Next Generation Staff reserve the right to re-designate a player to  the level appropriate for maximum development for the player.  A re-designation is based on experience with the "Next Generation System" and a player's individual skill level.   Because the school is designed for the individual and is based on a progressive teaching method, there is no age restriction or age requirements at each level.

AGE & LEVEL DESIGNATION

Important: Next Generation Hockey Schools does not have a minimum or maximum age requirement for any level. The system is based on individual skill development at each level so beginners up to professional players are all welcome to skate.

Level designation based on AGE ONLY at initial registration.

Level 1

Birth year: 2014 & younger

Level 2

Birth year: 2010 - 2013

Level 3

Birth year:  2009 & older

*For players that don't meet the birth years listed above please contact us as our system won't allow you to register without contacting us first for approval.

GOALIES

Hiroki Wakabayashi will be offering goalie instruction at this years camp.  Goalies typically participate in skating drills for half of each session and then break out for instruction with Hiroki during the second half of the session.  Edge work is a critical component to goalie development and Boris and Hiroki are encouraging goalies to participate in skating (with goalie gear) the entire session.
